Pros
The rims are not 100% true, but these are mountain bikes for my 12 year old girls. The only complaint is that she said it hurts her *.
Troubleshooting is much easier once you know how it works. Step 2 is fine tuning the assembly.
My daughter is 12 and it fits her perfectly. Happy kid = happy parent.

Bike is solid. This bike is top notch.
Cons
The front wheel is not true (it wobbles in place), which forces it to push into the brake pads. The spokes are unbalanced and creating the wobble. The reach of the brake levers is also too long for kids' hands.
Instructions on assembling the handlebars are not clear and relevant. I am having difficulty assemble the handlebar as it is not properly mounting on the bike.

Amazon may accidentally ship this via usps and they wont deliver it
Amazon initially said i wouldn’t receive the bike for about 4 weeks but it arrived in just 1 week
Packaging/appearance
It arrived in a huge box that shows what it is so if your getting it as a gift beware if they see the box they will know
Obviously i knew this was going to come flat packed however this didnt come with instructions
Came with grip shifters but easily replaced with shimano stef51 and spare grips
Competitiveness
We have another diamondback bike 24” clarity and this has the same components and quality
It wont make a difference and they dont care
Other brands are normally above 400 and was surprised to see a diamondback for half of it
I didnt want to spend a lot buying other more expensive bikes from good brands until they are big enough to use a 26 inch bike

If i had half decent instructions i could of assembled it in no time but because of the lack of it took much longer than it should of
