Old fashioned wood matches are one of those low-tech basics that every household needs. Use them for lighting candles, starting the barbecue, lighting pilot lights, bathroom odor elimination and everything you can think of.

Great value for the money. Exactly as pictured, with a good striker on the box. The green color is an added bonus.

These are by far the sturdiest matches mankind has ever come to known. They're inexpensive but high quality matches.

Flares disappear within 2 inches of any successful strike. Wood appears to be poorly pressed together splinters.

These matches frustrate me. They are no better than a regular length match vis a vis burn time. For the money i suggest getting some traditional, sulphur-tipped matches.
