Pros

Docking station is a great way to add two monitors to a computer. It has enough bandwidth to run xfreerdp with low enough latency to run cad. Small minus for colour adjustment though.

It’s relatively small footprint, and the ease of use are its best qualities. It will be nicely placed out of sight. Great piece of gear.

Just click on the most recent osx driver and there is a high sierra option from there. Worked right out of the box on my work computer (hp elitebook) simple quick and worked without a hitch to connect my laptop to 3 screens, mouse, scanner, etc.

It’s slim enough to be tucked behind the laptop. Diamond list their hz rating and i remember diamond back from dos and windows 3.

Cons

Both units illicit the same error message from windows when plugged in. Boot hanging while the box is plugged in is the show stopping one. None of the usb ports work on the dock.

For productivity and office applications i see absolutely no degradation in video quality or sound quality

It’s unclear if that’s a macos thing or something to do with the driver
