Pros
The two storage drawers is spacious and also has a lock clip to keep the storage bin closed. They are on wheels and roll under the bed. The drawers are a little difficult to latch so daily use of them is impracticable.
It's so easy to essemble, way better and much sturdier compared to the junk you get from ikea. Took us a little over an hour to assemble (that's what he did during quarantine). The hardware was packaged and labeled for assembly.
The dhs urban daybed is ideal for those who need to optimize space. It also depends on what kind of mattress you pair it with. With the right bolster pillows and throw pillows it looks like a small sofa.
It is very sturdy and well made. For a young teen this is a great economical option.
Cons
We unbox the daybed and see the warning that this product can exposure you to formaldehyde. This is 1 of 3 beds i purchased from dhp and all 3 have been a disappointment. Now it's sagging.

Its a bit hard to slide the drawer back in as the only thing holding it in place is a keyhole to hold the screw if that makes sense

As the drawers are not on rails they have a lot of room to wiggle in their spots which makes locking them a bit frustrating

Its hard to tell if the hook is aligned with the hole when the drawer is closed and pressing the hook against the beam of the bed may have contributed to the hook sinking into the front of the drawer making it less effective at locking into the hole

This might cause the hook to be unscrewed from the front drawer panel and fall into the beam

As there is no hole at the bottom of the beam i had to use a wire and magnet to fish out the hook
