I gave it 4 stars because it is a solid nice cheap bed with the exception of the 2 problems i've had during the year i've had it.
It seems to be quality material that is built to last.
For that price it is very good quality.

There would be a 5 star review saying it was excellent then right under that was a 1 star saying it fell apart the first night.

As one other purchaser mentioned, you should not put the brackets on the headboard and footboard first.

Its nearly impossible to get the sideboards attached if you do it in this order, and you will have to waste time undoing and redoing the work.

The people who wrote the instructions have clearly never assembled the product (or they're sadists), otherwise they would have indicated the order differently.

Other than that small hitch, it was an easy asthe least enjoyable part was putting in the 'rib-cage', mostly because it was boring.

The only real bad thing is the support leg for the middle of the bed is garbage.
