Pros

Seems to be holding up well after several slugfests. It's sturdy despite being made of plastic. Also fits in my chess bag like a champ.

Awesome that it is preprogrammed with a great many different time controls. Fide ready and completely programmable. It has some preset times and you can customize it.

It has quite a lot of functionality, and all the different modes/ settings are printed on the bottom of the clock, which hides the clutter. It has every option you could realistically want in a chess clock, and it's not terribly difficult to set up.

Clear display. Solid toggles. Only drawback is the usual problem seeing the display in poor light.

Cons

I am perplexed with a number of things about this clock. Only two of the remaining 15 options allow manual setting of the delay. It is impossible to set the required number of moves to reach standard (non-bonus) time controls. The instructions provide... Read More

What a shame and injustice to a good design

Price

Not too expensive easy to program and very reliable

Price is about just right for a practical chess timer for tournaments or just for blitz games

Price is a bit of an eyeopener but i know of no clear equal thats cheaper

Packaging/appearance

The batteries were also included in a tiny plastic bag

This is unimportant because you dont need to but the box in the bag with the clock

Competitiveness

Other brands are not up to level with the dgt brand

No wonder why dgt is the top brand of chess implements nowadays
