The only drawback so far is the fact there is no way to secure the box to the outlet switching between saw and router causes it to pull out of the outlet

Automatically powers up my largest and strongest craftsman shop vac when mated to my sander biscuit jointer or scroll saw

The vac started up right away

Powered off the saw the vac stayed running for about 7 seconds later and then cut of

Vacuum cuts on when saw trigger is pulled and stays on about 5 seconds after saw cuts off

Just plug into an outlet and then plug in your shop saw planer etc and then your dust collector and when you start the tool the dust collector kicks on at the same time allowing you to work without having to go turn on the collector and then the tool separately

It did not kick the breaker and delayed vacuum shut off as advertised
