The spring is really strong i first used to clamped to a road cone at an autosolo it was blowing a gale and the clamp held the camera steady as you could want

I would not recommend using this mount with the gooseneck on a moving object as there is a lot of vibration in the gooseneck and this will distort your video and blur pictures

Rubbish used it about six times and cracks started to appear in the joints making it useless

I have used this tripod for a host of activities like underwater filming walking in the countryside and also using it as a stand to film time lapses on my phone
