Pros & Cons
Pros
Affordable and durable, gets the job done. Slides through meat like butter, and makes an otherwise tedious task quick and enjoyable. This is the knife seen most by guides of you fished enough.
Highlights
Quality
Exactly what i expected from dexter great quality and very sharp
I am a quality knife guy and have a 36 piece wusthof trident set in the kitchen
In three days i have deboned 15 pounds of chicken trimmed the fat off brisket and cut back the fat layer on a picnic shoulder
The handle is a nice large size even for small hands doesnt slip at all unlike wood handles or smooth plastic handles
Price
Great knife at a good price when i got them
Great knife fantastic life for the price
This is an inexpensive knife and has already paid for itself in the savings ive gotten in meat
For the money they can’t be beat
Packaging/appearance
I wish it came with a case but i was able to buy a plastic sleeve online that protects the knife in storage
Competitiveness
It may cost more than other products in the category but considering the quality and american manufacturing its worth every bit to me
I’m sure there’s better knives out there but not at this price point
