Pros & Cons
Pros
It is a fine-hone diamond imbeded tool that brings a fine edge quickly on most blades. Light hand and a few swipes before each use maintains a nice straight and sharp edge. Easy to sharpen and keep knives sharp.
The 12 inch length is suitable for knives 10 inches and under. It's also very effective; much more so than standard round-core stainless sharpening steels. It is so effective in sharpening that it is worth the expense of replacing.
