Pros & Cons
Pros
I think it is sharper out of the package than my bubba, and at 1/5 the price. I purchased the separate plastic sheath, the thing is so sharp, i need to be protected. The blade holds its' edge quite well.
Overall this is a great knife and i definitely recommend it! Hardy knife and a great price. Great knife for the money.
This knife is sharp and perfect for filleting poultry. It slices tomatoes and onions like a boss.
A pleasure to fillet with. Thanks kc. Great value.
It's durable and washable. It's pliable but sturdy.
Cons
The mercer 6” narrow boning knife may as well be labeled fillet knife. The bevel profile is uneven. The knife is stamped japan.
