I specifically needed a toolbox that had a removable top tray but not the conventional arrangement where it stretches all the way across the box or only leaves a small opening along the front edge of the box and this was the only box i could find that had the tray that only covers half the box which allows me plenty of space to store all the smaller items above and below but then leave the other half of the box to store all the larger tools that need the full interior height of the box  Read Less
