The hook and loop is not durable at all. They are good for about 2 - 3 minutes before the backing gives out. These are worthless, atleast with the (again, dewalt) tool that i have.

They stay on the sander well but come apart pretty quickly at the edges if they bump into an uneven surface like a slightly raised deck board
