Pros & Cons
Pros
After i rewound the string it fed flawlessly. No cons. Worked fine but big and bulky.
Never owned a battery powered weedeater untill this one. Aftermarket 6ah batteries are about 30 bucks each, so having 3 large capacity batteries will get me about 1.
String is durable and a snap to reload. The bumper/popper thing to release more string is very responsive. What i like most about dewalt products is the ruggedness.
Cons
This is really subpar for any manufacturer. Buy different brand is my advice. Will never buy a dewalt product of any type again.
Not designed intelligently. Watched numerous videos of how to repair but too much hassle.

Competitiveness
I have about 4 acres to mow and weedeat takes 2 5ah batteries to do it but it works awesome
So far i have not had issues with not enough battery power on just one 5ah battery
Battery life was about the same for both trimmers the dewalt used one and a half 5ah batteries
