Pros & Cons
Pros
This dewalt 5ah battery lasts all day. A very impressive product. It works great and has lots of power.
I still love the drill, i just wish the chuck didn't lock up periodically. The little light on the drill is well positioned to illuminate the work area.
Sliced through 12+ inches of ice like butter. Bought this drill for use with a k drill ice auger. Used this for ice fishing. After hearing many ice fishermen compare other drills to this dewalt they convinced me the dew walt is the best option out the... Read More
On its slowest setting (of 3) the torque output of this tool is impressive. Balance is great and the grip is also great. The clutch works fine and so does the speed selector. The torque is just insane…need to watch my wrist with this one.
Cons
The dewalt warranty is a joke. Then there was the speed selector.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality stuff at a fair price
I had an old mikita probably from about 1990 with the 9
You can tell just by picking it up and it went through the steel in maybe 10 seconds with the same bits
Competitiveness
Two 5ah batteries means i can drill over 40 holes
Replaced an 18v dewalt with this one because it was almost as cheap as buying 2 new 18v batteries
Just hoping we will get a longer service life from the 20v batteries
