I knew going into this project that led lights will hum when dimmed if a powered dimmer also called an elv for electronic low voltage is not utilized

Granted there are some reports of no humming from various people out there that used nonelv dimmer switches but the majority report this problem

With the elv dimmers im able to turn them down extremely low for movie watching or just relaxing in the living room and not being in the dark

Running on high all day and they never heat up so putting insulation over them in the attic is ok and actually advised in the manual
