I had this clock for almost ten years and for some reason it stopped

Im glad i didnt return it because it would stop and that was because of it not being level

It is far too small to tell the time unless you are quite close

However my challenge is that the string suspending the pendulum and the metal bar is extremely long and am scared that if i cut or remove part of it it might affect the gravity and balancing of the clock

The clock is very handsome looks exactly as shown and the open skeleton design shows off the inner workings beautifully
