Pros
The bag has a pair of leather straps which holds down the flip up leather cover. Outside, the belt buckles are metal, not plastic -- a nice touch. The carrying strap is adjustable, and you can tuck it inside the bag.
The pockets strike the perfect balance in size, big enough to be useful and small enough not to allow what you are carrying to jiggle. Inside, there is a large zippered pouch on one side, and inside that pouch is another zippering pouch.
The combination of leather and canvas is both casual and classy, without being too flashy. It looks like a nice vintage canvass. It is very stylish and still remains manly.

The inside front of the bag has two pockets – one small and one large. The interior compartment is about 7 deep, and is divided in middle by a zippered pocket. The middle divider has a zipper down the middle that opens to become one big pocket.
Cons
At the most you can house a light 12/13 type laptop (the super lightweight kinds) and maybe an ipad with chargers for both, and a small diary. The top leather part under the handle collapses producing a wedge. The outside is fine.
