Pros
The battery i ordered is an actual dell battery with their sticker over it, so oem parts are good, i applaud them for offering batteries like this. And it all works. Raid controller finally shut up about having a dead battery.
Cons
Worked fine for awhile, now it's dead after only eight months of service.

Hardest part of this project was getting the server fully out of the rack im the bozo who did not fully utilize the folding wiring carrier on initial placement bonus was being able to clean some dust from the innards
