If you have ceiling cabinets which is what i just installed in my kitchen that's why i needed a step for the new height. Use this around the house, cleaning ceiling fans, decorating the christmas tree, hanging pictures and such. Very pleased with this... Read More

It’s sturdy, opens and closes easily. The safety lock is a gravity swing lock so as you open to use it moves into place as to keep it from folding while you are on it. The locking hook is a little wonky but it's not necessary for general use.

Cons

This step ladder looks and feels fragile. Made out of thinner tubing. Quite disappointing. You see the pictures and dimensions and it seems to add up, but then it arrives and it’s so small.

Unfolding is step ladder is tricky and not graceful. The hinge is hard to open, the safety clasp is a complete joke. The top bar extends over the middle of the top step, which makes it difficult for placing your feet on the step.

Stool is definitely not sturdy. When i step on the the second or third step, it wobbles alarmingly. The ladder is wobbly.
