Pros
After 3 years of use however that the rechargeable battery may be getting a little weak. The new one uses lithium batteries which are the best rechargeable batteries widely available. When i have finished using them the world looks pink for a while.
The visor is lightweight and comfortable. It stays on the hat with high-end push-and-click velcro.
Product was recommended to my by my psychiatrist. Works for depression, fibromyalgia and some other disorders. I got a psychiatry consult and the intensity is in line with the literature.
Complaints aside, the thing works for me, and for that i am grateful. Other than those issues, it works like it should. Not a problem for me.
Cons
The battery requires shipping your product to the manufacturer (pep) to replace.

Price
I would purchase again at 10 times the price
There are a few problems the biggest issue is the price
Shipping
I opened the shipping box could not believe that this was what id ordered
They fixed it free but charged me shipping which was about eleven dollars
I called the company and they cheerfully replaced it i paid round trip shipping
Packaging/appearance
Its nit picking but the packaging is really cheap looking also
Com i searched for and found the packaging for my visor with the plan of sending what i viewed as a defective light back to the company
Competitiveness

I saw another reviewers comment that if you keep the cable plugged into the device even when the cable it isnt plugged into the wall the power will be drained
