Pros

Great product, installed and works just as advertised. Fit perfectly. Fits like a glove.

Bought this to replace an existing non-locking door harness for pocket doors. It's for a pocket door in a hallway that needs to be kept closed because of pets. Worked great as replacement in our pocket door.

Good solid construction with flawless chrome finish. Solid, durable construction.

Cons

The recessed area is no more than 1/4 deep. The chrome plating has bubbles and will flake off soon. The lock did not fit flush in the edge of the door like it should.

And lastly the lock doesnt lock unless you hold the doors together dual doors and then lock

I hated to spend this much for a simple piece of hardware but it was really my only option and fortunately did the trick

I had difficulty finding this size particularly at a decent price

Note i purchased this item on amazon for full price

Trrrific and amazon was amazing replacing the first list shipment

Freight was fast and installation was easy

The item was obviously very old as the box was falling apart but the item was in good condition

Competitiveness

Quality was much better than what i found at lowes and home depot

Much better than the typical big box store

The old one is a different brand which isnt made anymore in this size

I tried another brand through a different website but had to return because it didnt fit well
