I didnt want it to actually pull shut requiring us to open it with the handle while in and out of pantry while cooking
Mounted right up with the existing holes and did not take long to install
It would be nice if there were some sort of thrust washer to help with the noise

It shuts the door well but i wish there was finer adjustment over the force 1 setting turn goes from barely shutting the door to being dangerous for my small dog

I chose this rather than a bulky arm mechanism for the top of the door because 1 it’s cheaper and 2 coming downstairs everyone woold hit their head on it at least once then after that it would be a mental reminder

With 5 older kids who forget to close the bathroom door and a baby who has an affinity for splashing in the toilet no matter whats in it we were desperate to find a way to guarantee the door would always be closed
