Pros

Did some research and settled on this. Great fan, installed myself (aka easy to install); looks good and does a great job.

The fan is much quieter than the old builder grade fan we had. It's also quieter than the space heater i have in my bathroom.

The humidity sensor is great. It does a great job at clearing the humidity from the bathroom. This fan works well, and seems to be clearing the shower steam better than the fan it replaced.

Joist to joist brackets are included. It has a damper that seals well and prevents backdraft. Tape seal the fan box to the panel to prevent air and dust recirculating at the box.

This exhaust fan/led light combo is a great deal. The light works normal, even at the lowest setting. One concern is the gap between the lamp shade and ceiling.

Cons

The exhaust vent is exactly 4, making it extremely difficult to fit with other 4 vents in the ceiling. The threads on the rod which the glass shade is mounted to are poorly cut on both ends requiring the use of pliers to thread the rod in. Sound level... Read More

I was only able to get it to work for only a few seconds by manually spinning it with the power on

There is a green led that blinks when there is some problem with the fan and thats what happened for me

Its super quiet compared to the old standard nutone 50 cfm ac motor

I replaced an old noisy nutone bathroom vent with this unit

It did not function correctly with the timer switch a lutron model that was in place with the previous fan
