So if i walked up to the bike with a wrench i feel like i could just unscrew the black nut and a everything would loosen up enough to remove the bike

Also it should be known that this hitch does not fit on the holes of the bed tracks that are now in most truck beds

The lock on the hitch really has no purpose but to discourage would be thiefs from taking your bike right when they see it due to the fact that the other side can simply be unscrewed and the bike can be taken quite easily

My suggestion would be to not leave the bike on the hitch over night or simply file the threads so the cap can not be removed

The item does not come with any hardware what so ever
