I had one shipping related issue the main switch housing was destroyed but quickly replaced by the local delta service rep

00 cheaper than amazon and i didnt have to pay shipping

Packaging/appearance

The pulley housing sits on the machine at an angle but this is because of some minor irregularities in the casting

The features that are of great value in working with this press are the quill lock the quickset depth stop and the extra long quill depth

Competitiveness

I dont use it much so its not a real big deal but im certain it could be engineered a littl better

All in all i do recommend this tool as a contender

Its closest competitor is made by jet

After using it almost every day for a month i can say that it is a wonderfull machine
