To add insult to injury there were no check engine light cels codes being thrown by the computer either pending or stored

If i kept my foot down on the accelerator gas pedal i can finagle the engine to run and get it out of gear and driving but it was super sketchy and dangerous as im literally lurching forward and then the engine would stall again if i didnt keep feathering the accelerator when stopped and then having to place it in in neutral only to have to throw it in gear to get it going

After narrowing out the usual suspects battery spark plugs plug wires fuel pump injectors i started to google symptoms and viola found the same issue with the dodge rams with the 5

I am cheap so i ordered it and waited the two days to get it the old idle air control valve was a pain to remove since i had to pull the air box the air box plate an then remove two torx screws facing towards the fire wall

The old part specifically the shiny metal part in the picture for this item was covered in carbon black i tried to use an ohm meter to check if it could be salvaged but then quickly remembered what a pain in the butt the part was to remove and how dangerous it was to try to get the truck to move in the first place

I urge you to use caution there are many other parts here on amazon that will pop up with the two parts i have mentioned and they are a lot cheaper
