The system recognizes the battery and displays the battery meter icon in the system tray

I hope the battery will last for the normal lifetime of a battery

It holds its charge well about 5 hours on my dell i1420 and was a fraction of the cost of the dell replacement battery

I was a little concerned because the battery doesnt appear exactly the same as the dell inspiron battery that it was replacing however it worked just fine
