These mats are great on hardwood floors. The sticky backing really grips the floor and keeps the mat in place. Can be easily cut to customize the space. Also has a sticky bottom that keeps it in place.

While it does come folded instead of rolled the extremely thin carpet isnt going to keep the creases at least from my experience

The backing is made of some kind of rubber that sticks to the floor but not like tape or glue so you can easily lift it and put back down anywhere

Actually you dont need to iron it to flatten as long as its property placed on the floor use your hands to make it flat

I hate the vinyl mat as it will turn yellow after a while and you can see throuh it collecting dirt underneath
