I will say however i have serious doubts about the blade actually being 67 layer damascus steel the sellers went though a lot of effort to photograph this blade to accentuate the depth of the steel colors what you get out of the box actually looks like what other buyers have shown in their personal photos of the blade

In fact it looks exactly like theirs right down to the identical pattern of the damascus steel it should be noted that one of the true beauties of damascus steel is that no 2 forged blades have an identical pattern similar sure but not identical

And i must say the grind was pretty consistent there was only 1 extremely small chip in the cutting edge small enough that you wouldnt see it with out magnification so i give points for a decent edge
