If they bleed while healing, this protector keeps it from seeping through to the mattress. Potty training kids with no fears of wet mattresses or dealing with crinkly plastic.

Amazon expects me to return a broken and infested mattress protector, which is disgusting and should not be allowed.

The only thing i can do is to only have it zipped half way in order to prevent too much of an air bubble every time the mattress is used. The zipper after rounding one of the corners may stick. Make a stronger zipper, seriously.
