Pros & Cons
Pros
Leave in for 5-6 days, remove and regenerate desiccant beads, then back into the safe. Just plug them in for half a day after they've absorbed all they can, and their ready to go again.
While you can hear the fan running it’s not obnoxiously loud. It runs well and is very quiet until it needs to be reheated. It's small enough to sit on our counter without being in the way.
In the vertical position, it is more effective at removing moisture than the disposable dehumidifiers i have been using to date. I use this inside a wwii era mosler safe that use to store valuables in.
Cons
Don't have the time to keep recharging it. It takes forever to turn into orange. It gets very very hot when you will plug it in. Says it should go 2 to 3 months.
Save the aggravation and get a collection type dehumidifier. I'm $20 poorer for trying this garbage non-working device. Don't waste your money.
