Both have a peak wavelength of 668-669nm with a central wavelength closer to 665nm. I also have it set on the diffused position. Has good distance and zoom works great.

Even at max spread it was almost painfully bright when using it to navigate a footpath directly in front of me i would suggest carrying something dimmer than this for walking purposes

That said on max focus i was getting eye shines from the woods at 350yd could not id animal but spooked off a fox at 200yd

The red light doesnt seem to attract bugs like a white one
