Pros

Here’s my complimentary poem in addition. I hope everyone enjoys my humble submission. And they are conspicuously not ugly.

Easy to install and great airflow. Only complaint is that the airflow control is very sensitive and just my dog walking over it will close. Vacuuming over them is enough to close the vent.

Bottom is plastic so that you can snap the removable filter into place. The top is nice and made of metal and looks great! This grate fits the decor perfect.

Cons

This plastic is extremely flimsy, and has actually melted/warped in one of my units. The top is metal but the part that sits in the floor is plastic, and they are not glued or fused together.

The 2x12 is actually 2 3/16 and not 2 inches which is a quarter inch larger than my existing vent can accommodate. Currently the plastic part keeps falling into the vent and the metal part detaches. One of them is in an open location and the first pas... Read More
