The rods are very sturdy good quality metal, but the end balls are cheap plastic felt like almost almost pingpong ball but larger. Am pleased with it. If you are looking for a cheap no frills option, it’s a good way to go.

This is the cheapest, flimsy, poorly made item i've ever bought off amazon. The thinnest cheapest plastic known to man.

It kinda looks like someone used long nosed plyers to try to get them unstuck. My doorway is approximately 120”, the rod is supposedly good to 144”. When you slide the rod apart the paint flicks off in little pieces.
