They work but the velcro patches are not sewn on the tiebacks rather they are simply stuck on with the level of adhesive of regular tape

The picture is taken during peak daylight hours the only light coming in is from around the curtain rod

These seemed to block a decent amount of light i wasnt expecting full black out with a light color drape but the stitching on the hems made them look kind of cheap imo almost like a basting stitch rather than a finished hem so i sent them back
