Pros

I like it because it doesn’t look bulky or take up too much room in my small den. It fits a nice computer chair under it as well. Since the leg bars are open, it makes it easier to contend with cords.

The steel base is suprisingly strong and heavy. The welds look strong without any barbs or sharp parts (see pic w/ review) love the matte black color of the base too. The top is high-quality mdf with fairly sturdy oak veneer over it.

Cons

Some of the black powder coating on the legs are scratched off and missing in some places. Many of the screws connecting the brace to the top surface (from underneath) are sheared. It’s a heavy table and needs better packaging.

So my daughter assembled this while sick and taking heavyduty flu medication and had absolutely no problem putting it together herself
