Pros & Cons
Pros
Water was pumped up 6 feet from ground level in 3 different directions. It pumps a great deal of water and keeps my swamper pad nice and wet. The pumps works fine with a 5v power supply.
Cons
The pump is for a small goldfish pond and worked ok at first but weakened quickly. I wish i would have read the reviews because a huge percentage of them outline the same issue. This pump is quite noisy.
Worked for 20 seconds out of the box then froze. Pump is a magnetic drive and quit working. It quits (fails) in approx. After about a month.
Once it hits water it slows down to zero flow. Pumps 2 seconds and gets hung up on mag drive. Even when powered from a clean 12v power supply, it draws about 800ma for a second.
Highlights
Quality
Works good the only thing i can say is i wish it came with the actual 12 volt battery but other than that works really well
I cant vouch for the longevity as i have only had it running for 12 hours but i am very impressed by the power and how queit it is
Competitiveness
For the price this one works like a champ
It pumps a great deal of water and keeps my swamper pad nice and wet
