Great book to foster confidence in girls. My grand niece loves this book. This book is marvelous!

This book has a real message. It says such inspiring things and speaks to this grandma heart. The message is one of courage, adventure, individualism and more.

Cons

The content is fluff compared to the other. Whereas "dear boy" is inspirational, this one is so stereotypical! This book is full of pseudo empowerment messages that just reinforce some really terrible ideas.
