Pros

The dean has just as much sound quality than any other, you just have to retrieve it. It sounds great and is loud when played acoustically and i prefer it that way. I'm a long time acoustic and electric guitar player and this is my first bass.

The only problem that i have with this bass is that when you hammer on over a four fret stretch, you get a clank noise. Tested and works fine and little fret ring. Sounds great when plugged in to an amp.

It is beautifully crafted and has great sound. This big baby is my favorite, even better than my fender. Great in acoustic as well as with my amp.

The bass is so big this might be the only bag that fits. It's awesome but really big, so if you have a small space for your instraments, it will dominate the area. Excellent gloss finish.

Cons

Waiting to take pics of it and take it from there. Looks like it could been damaged. Customer service rep was pleasant but not helpful.

I can separate junk from quality and this dean is not a toy

It was 100 times better than i was expecting for this price wiould recommend to anyone buying an acoustic bass

Bottom line is for the price you cant do any better

Costs me very little time and money

Other than that it is great for the price

My bass had no fret buzz straight out of the box

Keep that in mind if youre lookiing for someting smaller

Only noticeable flaws are some rough areas of overspray that did not flow out in the finishing process
