Each time i attempted to try led’s i immediately took them back out because the hid comparison was always superior in beam pattern and overall brightness

The one thing i think that was bad about this bulb design is the method of how the bulb is clocked

The instructions want you to place the bulb in the housing and then clock the bulb tightening the screws while in the housing

This was impossible to do on the vehicle i installed them on

The bulbs had to be placed in the housings and marked in the clocked position then taken out of the housing and tightened

The screws when tightened force the mounting collar to tilt

Imo the clocking design should be a slotted mounting collar with tapped bulb opposed to what is there
