it doesnt work at 12 volts installed backwards but 12 volts also doesnt break it when i accidentally plugged in the high voltage outputs to each other instead of to the bulb nothing caught fire or even stopped working when plugged them back in correctlyits bright enough that with one hid and one halogen installed its hard to even make out the light from the halogencheck your vehicle make and model if youre headlights are pulsewidth modulated you will need to get some capacitors because these flicker very badly on unfiltered pwm

It has proven quite resistant to the antics of the idiot installer me i got it very wet installed in the rain and it still works
