Pros

Stand is about the size and weight of a manhole cover. Works beautifully supporting the umbrella we have out on the lanai over the grill. Perfect storm will not budge this!

All of these have a bad failure point and that is the welds on the little plate that mounts the bolt at the base at the bottom of the pole holder tube. Without that bolt the umbrella easily slides out of the sleeve when there is mild breeze. The threa... Read More

The really unfortunate part is that the two pieces of the stand are very poorly attached. There seems no way to even contact seller. Both are necessary, but returning the product for another isn't possible due to the heavy weight of the base.
