The de-esser works well, and the output gain adjustment does what it's supposed to. The detented pots make it easy to adjust repeat setups and closely match 2 mono units. This unit allows me to control where the full range and subs crossover.

Dbx makes very good products. Highly recommended. No complaints. Very nice and reliable product. No complaint orcomplaint.

Dbx 286 is a solid and professional mic processor. Pairs perfectly with the shure sm7b microphone and focusrith scarlett 2i2 3rd gen usb interface. Great for voiceover and podcast recording.
