Pros & Cons
Pros
As far as the machining goes and the comments being made are just not true. The trick is to assemble it all but not tighten any bolt completely until all are attached. These are an excellent value and should outlast me quite easily.
They are heavy-weight and solid, belying their low price. They are sturdy, went together perfectly, and hold my fairly heavy speakers quite nicely. With this setup they're stable and look and sound great.
The dayton audio b652 6-1/2 2-way bookshelf speaker pair are perfect as is. The dimensions are perfect for my teac ls-h265's. Small bookshelf speakers are popular among audiophiles because they tend to image better.
Cons
There were screws all over the box. When i mount the speakers, they look completely crooked. The spikes are pretty lame and on some the screw threading ends before they are flush with the base plate - causing more wobble.

These are just as nice for less than half the money
I am not expecting 60 stands to perform like more expensive models
It was very tedious since and took some time practically using up roughly 30lbs of sand but it was so worth it
