Pros & Cons
Pros
Thin (1/8) plywood works really well as a soundboard. Acrylic styrene does well. Even cardboard works to a degree.
Amazing little buggers. Such a fun gadget to experiment with though. I suggest everyone get them really, as there is no downside.
The sound is dead on and theyve been adhering strongly for 4 months on a legends pinball cab! Not a deal breaker with me though.
Bass is particularly rich, while the treble has a bit of a tinny sound. They also make tactile transducers purely for bass. Frequency response thru the fiberglass/abs plastic top case is very good.
Cons
In almost all practical applications, they deliver a so-so performance. Hung the speakers after two days. Next day found 3 of the 4 exciters on the floor, one severely damaged from the fall.
Highlights
Quality
It really was a great implementation of the product
Really impressed with the sound you can get out of these
I am disappointed that the adhesive pads were missing on one of them though
On a medium such as glass the key is thin light and rigid youre likely to get much better sound quality
Price
Since the price was right and really didnt want to cut holes in the top case of the bike i figured id try these
Packaging/appearance
The pads even came off of the exciters
Competitiveness
Including low end extension down into the mid 30hz range

I have purchased two pairs of these in the past its not really good if youre looking for highend quality audio you may be somewhat disappointed but if youre looking for something sounds great stuck anywhere the more hollow the surface preferred for better sound reproduction
