The ratings on this book are out of control in terms of their positivity. I'm astounded and appalled that this book received so many accolades.
The story is needlessly bogged down with tediously love getting descriptions of how to make swords. It veers into oddly judeo-christian religious symbolism for literally no reason. There is a decent story here somewhere, but it is buried under robotic... Read More
Character development is terrible and illogical. The only character development happens is huge deus ex machina that suddenly solves the problem at hand.

I read this book when first released and loved it then i read it a second time 3 years later in anticipation of 2nd book in series then i read a third time 3 years later sure the next book would drop soon…not
