Pros & Cons
Pros
Guayusa is different from yerba mate in that it is not roasted or aged. The taste is buttery and smooth and dark and rich.
Highlights
Quality
One of the higher quality of their teas
This is very good tea and seems to be very good quality
Less grassy and a courser flakegrind than the first source id tried
It turns out now for almost 2 years thanks to long covid i can no longer tolerate caffeine at all unless its green tea or guayusa
Price
It’s a little pricey but i believe you will find it enjoyable
I hope the growers are being paid well
Packaging/appearance
Packaging is good resealable pouch it arrived quickly and the price point is very good
Competitiveness
Results surprisingly despite not being from one of the dedicated guayusa brands this is my favorite
Big bonus davidson is the only brand available that you can purchase using a snap ebt food stamp card
I havent tried any other brands of guayusa so i have nothing to compare it to
Just tried this brand out of curiosity and happened to have bags of brand r w and p on hand to compare side by side to
