Most long johns are not comfortable enough to double as pajama bottoms and the usual scratchy wool or similar textile while great for a base layer if its genuinely cold isnt something you would put up with unless you have to

These are softer and thin enough to work as a base layer for colder days but not so warm that they would be as good for sibzero over prolonged periods fyi or for jammies around the house
