Pros

Well packaged, and great calories for the size. It protect from mechanical damage to the packaging.

Each pack is about 2lbs, with clearly marked usage instructions. Laying in a life raft, the instructions say to nibble one every 6 hours which would stretch these to 4 1/2 days while on land.

Cons

Two days after arriving both bags became loose and soft after sitting on the shelf. The information about the vacuum seal is not on the package. I think the issue is that they are shipped in a box with no packing material.

Btw, it is non-returnable. Im sure the sender had to of seen it like that and sent in anyway. I prob wldnt order again from them unless they made it right!

These are very dry and crumble when you open. Per 200 calorie bar:only 3 grams of protein9 grams of fatgarbage carbs no vitamins. This is the only product that i have had a problem with, and that didn't taste good, others usually taste like cookies.

The one in my bag had the mylar get pierced somehow so i swapped it with the one in the storm cellar

And believe that they are a good product

It protect from mechanical damage to the packaging i use my foodsaver to vacuum pack the factory package of bars

The weak point of the packaging is that if it gets punched from bouncing around in you emergency kit the bars are going to go bad

Competitiveness

I store a ziplock bag with the rations so that i can store them after opening the factory packaging

I keep these in my hurricane and bugout kits
